Tewin Fly Fishing Club is a small group of like minded individuals involved in the management and upkeep of a small stretch of the river Mimram near Tewin in Hertfordshire for the benefit of catching wild Brown Trout and Grayling. The river is a spring fed chalk stream and prime environment for all sorts of aquatic, bird, mamal and reptilian life.

It holds good numbers of wild Brown Trout ranging in size from 5″-15″ and you may also catch the occasional Grayling. Our water is about half a mile in length and includes riffles, slow glides and deep pools in open parkland. We also have a shallower section flowing through a wood. In addition to the river we have a small lake which is currently undergoing substantial improvement work.

Due to the high level of interest in club membership, the waiting list is closed as of June 2016. For more details, please contact the club secretary.
