Tewin Fly Fishing Club is a small group of like minded individuals involved in the management and upkeep of a small stretch of the river Mimram near Tewin in Hertfordshire for the benefit of catching wild Brown Trout and Grayling. The river is a spring fed chalk stream and prime environment for all sorts of aquatic, bird, mamal and reptilian life.
It holds good numbers of wild Brown Trout ranging in size from 5″-15″ and you may also catch the occasional Grayling. Our water is about half a mile in length and includes riffles, slow glides and deep pools in open parkland. We also have a shallower section flowing through a wood. In addition to the river we have a small lake stocked with Rainbow trout.
We currently have a waiting list for new members so please be patient when contacting us.
